I was born in Mersin in 1978. I completed my secondary and high school education at Mersin Private Toros College. I graduated from Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. Subsequently, I did my assistantship at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in Child Health and Diseases. I completed my compulsory duty at Muş State Hospital. I worked in various centers in Istanbul, including Baypark Hospital, Koç University Hospital, Medicine Hospital. Lastly, I served in the Pediatric Hematology Oncology and pediatric KIT Units and the pediatric outpatient clinic at Memorial Şişli Hospital in 2019.

Certain types of cancer are more prevalent in childhood. Early detection of these cancers is more likely when families are aware of the symptoms. Cancers detected early are easier to treat and have less chance of spreading.
