Anadolu Medical Center signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine International in 2002 aiming to improve education and quality. While this agreement facilitates exchange of information between doctors of Anadolu Medical Center and their colleagues at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, it allows them to share medical information and continue medical education through video-conferencing.

With this agreement, specialists from Johns Hopkins and Anadolu Medical Center are able to consult each other in the following areas:

• Creation of clinical and operational programs
• Selection of medical equipment and technology
• Information technology applications
• Hospital infection control policies
• Human resources and performance management
• Resource usage and clinical quality management
• Implementing clinical paths for standardization in healthcare
