Hair Mesotherapy Hair mesotherapy is an effective treatment method for hair loss that has been applied in France since the 1930s. It was first used by Dr. Michel Pistor and quickly gained popularity. The medications used in the treatment combination (vitamins, proteins, amino acids, circulation regulators, and agents that accelerate hair growth) are prepared as a mixture by a dermatologist and injected into the hair follicles using a mesotherapy device. The treatment period consists of the first 4 sessions being held every 15 days, and the last 2 sessions being held every month, for a total of 6 sessions. Even in cases of severe hair loss, it is observed that hair loss decreases by more than 70% starting from the second session. The aim of the treatment is to stop hair loss, prevent permanent hair loss, support the development of new hair, and improve the health of existing hair.
PRP is a treatment method performed using tissue regeneration for hair therapy, aimed at reducing hair loss and revitalizing weakened hair follicles.
PRP treatment involves the collection of 10 cc of blood from the patient, which is then separated in a laboratory to prepare the plasma needed for the treatment. The plasma created is injected into the area where hair loss has begun or where the hair follicles are weakened using a mesotherapy gun to complete the treatment process. This procedure takes 30 minutes. After the procedure, the patient does not experience any pain or scarring. Following the injection of the prepared plasma, the patient can continue with their normal activities. Typically, 3-4 sessions are performed depending on the hair’s needs. It can be combined with hair mesotherapy.
