What is digital dermatoscopic mole analysis?

In line with the increased rate of dermal cancers in the recent years, the interest in moles (nevus) has also increased. Malignant melanoma has the worst prognosis among dermal cancers. 70% of the malignant melanomas stem from normal skin, whereas 30% arise from the transformation of an existing mole.

Dermatoscopy is skin surface microscopy. It is used in the diagnosis of pigmented lesions and moles. Pigmented lesions are magnified by 30 times using dermatoscope, and mole mapping of the whole body can be performed. Digital dermatoscope helps to store mole mapping in the computer environment. Therefore, new moles and changes in moles can be monitored periodically. As a result of these monitoring activities, risky changes in the moles can be detected at an early stage. Early diagnosis of malignant melanoma is life saving. Dermatoscope increases the possibility of early diagnosis by 50-75 percent, and prevents unnecessary mole excisions.

Hair Loss and Hair Revitalization Treatments

Hair Mesotherapy Hair mesotherapy is an effective treatment method for hair loss that has been applied in France since the 1930s. It was first used by Dr. Michel Pistor and quickly gained popularity. The medications used in the treatment combination (vitamins, proteins, amino acids, circulation regulators, and agents that accelerate hair growth) are prepared as a mixture by a dermatologist and injected into the hair follicles using a mesotherapy device. The treatment period consists of the first 4 sessions being held every 15 days, and the last 2 sessions being held every month, for a total of 6 sessions. Even in cases of severe hair loss, it is observed that hair loss decreases by more than 70% starting from the second session. The aim of the treatment is to stop hair loss, prevent permanent hair loss, support the development of new hair, and improve the health of existing hair.

Facial Rejuvenation with PRP

The method developed by the French, called mesorejuvenation, and the American version known as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma Injection), has opened a new era in skin rejuvenation. The serum obtained from the person's own blood, through a centrifuge technique, is rich in growth factors and platelets. This serum is then applied to the entire face, neck, and décolleté using a mesotherapy device. No foreign substances, drugs, or chemicals are applied to the skin in this method. Instead, fresh cells and growth factors derived from the person’s own blood are provided to the skin. This method does not cause any swelling, redness, bruising, inhibition of facial movements, or allergies. The treatment is applied in 3 sessions, spaced one month apart. By the end of the 3-session treatment, the person's skin will appear at least 5 years younger, and this positive effect is naturally produced by the skin itself. The skin is revitalized with growth factors, and collagen production is significantly increased. With the PRP technique, sagging, wrinkles, and large pores can be improved, providing a vibrant, radiant, and firm skin. The collagen layer of our skin gives it its thickness, strength, and tightness. We lose approximately 10% of our skin’s collagen every 10 years. For example, if we are 40 years old, it means we have lost 40% of our collagen. This results in a 40% reduction in the thickness of our skin, leading to the weakening of the supportive tissue, which causes wrinkles and sagging. All anti-aging methods aim to increase collagen production in the skin. The PRP method, which utilizes the person's blood cells, has solved many skin problems. Through micro-injections with the plasma enriched with growth factors and DNA activators, the skin begins to produce collagen again, and its supportive tissue becomes stronger. This results in firmer, younger, and more vibrant skin. Before the session, 10 cc of blood is drawn and allowed to rest in special kit tubes in our laboratory. Meanwhile, the area to be treated is numbed with a locally effective anesthetic cream. After the blood has rested in the kit tubes, it is processed in a special centrifuge machine. After the centrifuge process, the platelet-rich plasma, which is also rich in growth factors, is separated. A DNA activator is added to activate the cell DNA. Now, your PRP is ready. Micro-injection techniques with the U225 device are used for a painless application to the eye area, face, and neck. Sagging of the skin typically begins after the age of 35. It is recommended that everyone undergo at least two sessions of PRP annually starting at the age of 35 as an anti-aging treatment.

Golden Needle (Needle Radiofrequency)

Secret Fractional Golden Needle Radiofrequency is a device equipped with 25 gold needles, each tailored to the individual, which deliver radiofrequency energy. When applied to skin areas with pigmentation problems, the needle punctures and the heat generated by the radiofrequency energy damage the extensions of melanocyte cells that produce melanin pigment. As a result, melanin pigment production halts to the extent of the damage caused. Additionally, the heat effect aims to increase metabolic activation in the treated area, and while the damaged skin heals, clustered melanin pigments that cause the pigmentation are expelled. The treatment head contains 25 gold-coated needles with a thickness of 30 G, which affect depths ranging from 0.5 to 3.5 mm and deliver radiofrequency energy along the needle track. Fraxis microneedle radiofrequency offers a wide range of treatments, from wrinkles to pigmentation, enlarged pores, and skin stretch marks (striae). The procedure lasts about 1 hour and is typically planned in 4 sessions.
